Godiva Access & Scaffolding has a personal commitment and leadership means we can deliver to time and budget and to the right quality without anyone’s health and wellbeing being negatively impacted. During 2018 we have had more than 100,000 man hours accident free.

Our robust procedures follow internationally recognised standards; solid selection of products, our skilled workforce; detailed planning and communication; and strong management to ensure the plans are not deviated from and that the correct environment is maintained and effective management.

‘Total Safety’ is an integrated approach we adopt to delivering our projects so that we can plan out incidents, ensure consistency of the structures we erect, in a manner where all workers and those impacted by our projects, come to no harm. To deliver quality takes detailed planning and preparation and can only be successful if carried out by an appropriately skilled work-force, with the right mind-set, the right knowledge and in a suitably managed environment.

We create a culture where we all look out for each other, where we are intolerant of any incident or slip in standards and where stopping the job if we are not sure is an accepted norm.

As a demonstration of Godiva’s capability to deliver to exacting standards the Company hold a range of third party, independently audited accreditations. To view current certificates CLICK HERE

At Godiva, we use up to date modern technology to make sure we have met all our responsibilities with regards to The Work at Height Regulations 2005.

The SMART inspector app helps us to inspect our own scaffolds with the following methods;

Improved inspections – a thorough step by step process to help to ensure your staff are safe with photographs of any defects.

Comply with legislation – a tool to make sure weekly inspections are carried out on time to guarantee you meet your legal obligations.

Efficient reporting – automatic distribution of inspection reports with an auditable trail for proof.

Greater accuracy – decreased potential for human error with standardised work processes.

Proof of visit – SMART Inspector allows for the use of barcodes for proof of visit and ease of identification.

More control – see the latest status of every scaffold on site and control costs so you spend less time manually reporting and chasing.
