Barr’s Hill School, Coventry
Godiva was appointed to provide access and scaffolding services during a contract that involved re-roofing to existing classrooms, halls and communal areas. The works were extremely challenging with a heavy design bias, due to a number of sloping roof interfaces and a variety of internal courtyard areas.
Logistics were a critical issue and the work had to be undertaken while the school was in use. This meant that all of Godiva’s employees had to operate under full DBS disclosure conditions and work within exclusion zones at all times.
The project was completed on time within budget to a high standard of workmanship over a seven month period in phases, with on average four Godiva employees.
